IVY PARK

As a designer for Ivy Park, the former collaboration brand of Beyoncé and Arcadia, my role focused on creating trend-led activewear and loungewear collections for women. Working closely with the creative director, I prepared and presented presentations for approval from Beyoncé's Parkwood creative team. The most interesting thing about designing for Ivy Park was the all encompassing mindset change to the design of performance clothing - at a time when going out to get coffee in your activewear was the done thing; we wanted to push boundaries further and design activewear that the wearer could even go out dancing to parties in and feel amazing. Despite this fashion forward mentality  I still made sure all styles had top performance finishing, such as antibacterial gussets and sweat wicking qualities, and every style was finished off with a reflective detail.
