As the sole assistant for Tommy Runway & Hilfiger Collection, I played a central role supporting designers, developers, and the creative director. My responsibilities encompassed extensive creative and trend research, where I generated and presented mood, design, and trim ideas for both swimwear and RTW.
A highlight of my contribution was being exclusively responsible for designing all swimwear for the SS15 Runway show during New York Fashion Week, working closely with the creative director and high profile external stylist. Additionally, I traveled to factories in Italy for fittings of prototypes, collaborated with factories and mills to develop styles, fabrics, and trims, and managed the creation of tech packs and the launch of sample/proto/mockup requests. My role also involved designing and developing prints, graphics, trims, embroideries, accessories, and colorways to contribute to the overall success of the collections.
